Meet our team
Gihovana Long
Gihovana brings over 15 years of medical industry experience, including work with some of Dublin’s busiest, high-profile clinics. She splits her time between Blackrock Medical Practice as a Practice Nurse and Vista Clinic as an Aesthetic Nurse.
She has always had a personal interest in aesthetics and skin health. Early in her career, she gained experience in medical skin management at Raheny Medical Skin Clinic in Dublin. There, she worked alongside Dr Steven Karagiannis, now owner of Skin Check Clinic.
In particular, her expertise includes PRP (platelet rich plasma), medical microneedling and skin peels. She also carries out advanced dermal filler techniques, including tear trough and marionette lines treatments.
For example, she attends aesthetic conferences and courses across Ireland, the UK, France, Asia, the USA and South America. This keeps her skills current with the latest techniques and innovations.
Gihovana is also a Registered Nurse Prescriber (RNP), having graduated from RCSI. She is a member of DANAI, the Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association Ireland.
Evanna O’Connor
She trained at the University of East Anglia in the UK. Her BSc Honours Degree in Nursing came from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin.
Evanna has over 15 years of experience under her belt as an Aesthetic and Dermatology Nurse. She gained her experience working in the highly prestigious Harley Medical Group in the UK.
In 2013 she moved back to Ireland. Since then, Evanna has worked in the most reputable aesthetic clinics in Ireland. Injectables are her passion, and she has performed hundreds of non-surgical treatments. Her areas of expertise are dermal fillers, skin boosters, Profhilo, Sunekos and all types of mesotherapy and chemical peels.
Overall, Evanna has invested highly in ongoing training, keeping abreast of the industry’s many advancements. She regularly attends national and international aesthetic and dermatology conferences to stay current with the latest technology. She also follows a holistic style of nursing, meeting every patient’s needs individually.
